The Stranger in Room 206
“Ethan checked into the motel late at night, exhausted from his trip. Room 206 smelled of damp carpets and old cigarette smoke. But something felt… off.”
He noticed the closet door was slightly ajar. When he went to close it, he saw a pair of shoes sticking out from inside. A chill ran down his spine as he backed away. The hotel manager insisted no one had checked into that room in months. Yet, when Ethan returned, the shoes were gone, and in their place was a note: ‘You should have left.’
