The Man in the Mirror

For weeks, Detective Olivia Chen had been chasing a serial killer who always left a mirror at the crime scene.

Tonight, she found herself staring into one.

The latest victim was a woman, throat slit, her lifeless eyes reflecting back at Olivia from the shattered glass.

She touched the mirror’s edge. A single word was carved into it:

LOOK.

Olivia tilted her head. Her own reflection didn’t move.

She stepped back, but her reflection stayed still—staring at her.
