Why do people lie? This generation doesn’t seem good for kind souls. People like us always get played. We often sense that something is wrong, yet we still choose to get close to that “fish” who is already sick. The closer you get to a sick fish, the more likely you are to become sick too. Still, you hold on to hope that you can heal that fish and turn it into something it is not forgetting that a sick fish cannot always be cured. In the end, it can infect the whole ocean and make you sick as well.
People in this generation can be like sick fish: the closer you get to them, the more you risk drowning in their sickness. There may be a whole ocean full of sick fish, but there is also a river that is clean and peaceful. Always choose the river your peace is far more important than a vast ocean. The river may be small, but it is cleaner than the ocean. You don’t have to be in the ocean just because it is huge and beautiful. Everything looks beautiful from afar, but when you dive into it, you see the reality of how dirty it can be.
I am not saying the ocean isn’t beautiful it is. But to experience it, you must dive deeper and deeper, and in the process of diving so deep, you may lose yourself too…
