People often say that writing is not a safe career. My parents think the same. They want me to choose something secure for my future, and I understand why. I study too, even though balancing studies and writing is not always easy. Sometimes it gets difficult, but that happens when you truly care about two things at the same time.
I write because it gives me peace. It makes me feel that I can create something, that I can do something on my own.
Sometimes I look at people of my age. They are building businesses, achieving big things, and I feel like I am doing nothing. But then there are a few people—maybe five or six—who always ask me, “What did you write today?” or “What are you working on now?” They may not even realize it, but those simple questions make me feel seen. They make me feel that what I do matters.
I may not have a big audience, but I have those few people who believe in me. And for me, they are more than enough. They remind me that every small story I write has value, and that is a feeling I will always be thankful for.

You are such a brave person for being so vulnerable on this app. I know how difficult it can be to share your true feelings about something and follow your dreams even when nobody else believes in you. From all the short stories I’ve read from you, I think that you’re an amazing writing and you have great potential to make it in the writing world. Thank you for sharing your story. I have a feeling that you’re going to inspire so many people someday!🩷
