Brave Even In the Dark

The barn was cold and held a thick and heavy dark within it’s walls. There were uneven planks of ra, splintered wood that made up walls of the massive structure. Sharp and scary toolssat quietly on nails andt lent a real and palpable fear to the atmosphere.

Benny tried to push back any ideas of what was waiting for him, hiding inside the dark depths. He was brave for being a brand-new nine years old. If all the kids he knew, none of them would do this. Not even the twelve year olds.
