Interesting premise and I liked the dream sequence a lot. The mystery, the voice, and the restart mechanic hooked me more than the school scenes. I’d suggest tightening some of the repetition in the beginning and showing more of why people react negatively to Alex, but overall I’d keep reading to see where the story goes

@beta-briefing my plan for arc 3 is alex wakes up near a lake and usually theres a lot of friends and couples near lakes (this lake specifically is quite popular in the “dream”) and because of this, alex will feel a lot of envy (especially towards couples cuddling each other). But thats not all, theres an archdemon and some other demons that are planning to attack this country. The archdemon is the archdemon of machiavellianism. Alex dies quite a lot trying to survive and save the lake maybe. But there will be a moment where he sacrifices someone (because of fear) so he could survive but he still got killed after. And alex feels incredibly guilty after this. But id say its what makes him human. At the end of this arc. Alex gives up and wants to permanently die, he does not want to keep suffering like this. And so he gets teleported to the next “dream”. Which is heaven and hell.
